Every figure is an estimate or a snapshot, not a guarantee

Requirements ladders, exam formats, fees, CPD point requirements, recertification cycles, and state-licensing facts are compiled from official NICET pages, the Candidate Handbook, and state fire marshal or licensing board sources, each stamped with the date it was last verified. These figures are a dated snapshot, not a live feed: fees change, work-element weighting is revised, states amend their statutes and adopt new NFPA 72 editions on their own schedules, and a number correct on its verification date can be out of date by the time you read it. Tools such as the Level Requirements Navigator, the calculators, and the state lookup are planning aids built on that same dated data; treat every result as an estimate to plan around, never as an official determination.
