Work Experience Log
NICET applications live and die on documented work experience, and most techs do not have a clean record of it. Log entries as you do the work: date, hours, the kind of work element it was, and a short description. Everything you enter is saved only in this browser's storage, on this device, and is never sent anywhere. Export it any time as CSV or plain text to bring to your NICET application or a supervisor sign-off.
Why log work experience at all?
NICET certification is gated on qualifying work-experience months, and candidates who wait until application time to reconstruct their history routinely lose entries they cannot date or describe well enough to count. A running, dated log kept in the moment holds up. This tool does not know your specific level's required experience months (that verified figure ships separately once the current NICET Candidate Handbook is reviewed); it tracks your own running total so you always have a clean, exportable record.

The month figure is a rough full-time-equivalent conversion of your own logged hours (173 hours ≈ one month), not a NICET-verified experience-month count for any specific level. Confirm your actual qualifying months against your NICET candidate record.

How to use it
Log entries the same day you do the work, while the detail is fresh: what you actually did (programmed a panel, ran an acceptance test, pulled and terminated wire, inspected an existing system), how long it took, and which category it falls under. Export the CSV or text summary whenever you need it for a NICET application, a supervisor sign-off, or your own records. This is a personal working log, not an official NICET record: it does not replace the experience documentation NICET itself requires on its application forms, and it does not submit anything to NICET on your behalf.
